Reader’s Warehouse Social Media Giveaway Terms and Conditions
- Introduction By participating in the Reader’s Warehouse Social Media Giveaways, each participant agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before participating.
- Sponsor The Giveaways are usually sponsored by a variety of publishers, located in South Africa. In some instances, Reader’s Warehouse stock may be used.
- Eligibility
- The Giveaway is open to individuals aged 18 or older unless otherwise stated.
- Entrants must reside in South Africa.
- Employees of Reader’s Warehouse, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- The Giveaways are void where prohibited by law.
- Entry Period The Giveaways' start and end dates will be specified in the post. Entries received outside these periods will not be considered.
- How to Enter
- All steps/instructions specified on the post must be followed for an entry to be considered valid.
Participants may enter any number of times by tagging different friends.
- Prize
- The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- Reader’s Warehouse reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.
- Winner Selection and Notification
- The winner(s) will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
- The winner(s) will be announced on the specified date on the original post, on Reader’s Warehouse Instagram and Facebook stories as well as TikTok profile (if applicable).
- The winner(s) will be contacted via direct message and must respond within 2 days to claim the prize.
- If the winner does not respond within the specified time, another winner will be selected.
- Publicity By entering the Giveaways, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- Privacy The personal information provided by participants will only be used in connection with the Giveaways and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary to administer the Giveaways.
- General Conditions
- Reader’s Warehouse reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaways if any technical failure or other unforeseen events compromise the integrity of the Giveaways.
- Reader’s Warehouse is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
- Limitation of Liability By participating in the Giveaways, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Reader’s Warehouse from any liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Giveaways or the acceptance or use of any prize.
- Governing Law The Giveaways and these terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
